🍩 NATIONAL DOUGHNUT DAY INVESTIGATION 🍩 PRPD units responded to a report of suspicious doughnut activity this morning. Upon arrival, K9 Rocky immediately began a full sniff inspection. PFC Potato arrived shortly after to secure the area, supervise the evidence, and make sure Rocky did not “accidentally” compromise the case. Current case notes: • Doughnuts located • Evidence secured • Crumbs documented • Sprinkles under review • Rocky deemed “too close to the evidence” • Potato refused to answer questions without a snack present Before our friends at the Fire Department start typing, let us be very clear: This is not a joint operation. This is not a recruitment opportunity. Rocky and Potato remain proudly assigned to PRPD. And no amount of firehouse snacks will change that. Probably. The doughnuts remain under police jurisdiction at this time, although we admit the evidence may not survive the afternoon. Happy National Doughnut Day, Port Royal! 🍩🐾🚔
